Features
They are made of previously corrugated wires or rods and mounted alternately to make a plain cloth. Their manufacturing wire diameter ranges between 1.50 mm and 5 mm, with square meshes within a wide range of possibilities.
The cloth can have more or less stability, consistency and smooth surface according to the number of wire corrugations, their depth and distance between them; these are factors to be borne in mind according to use needs.
Materials
Codina precorrugated wire mesh can be manufactured in the following materials:
Grey steel
It is an economical option for standard applications where specific corrosion resistance properties or extreme temperatures are not required.
Galvanized steel
The zinc coating provides excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion, ideal for humid or exposed outdoor environments.
Stainless steel
It offers corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. Perfect for applications in the food, chemical or medical industry where hygiene and durability are crucial.
Refractory steels
Designed to withstand extreme heat conditions in processes such as industrial furnaces or heat treatment systems.
